McDougall Wellness Soup
A nourishing vegetable soup with nutritional yeast and seasonings, perfect for a comforting meal.

Ingredients
- 1 onion, chopped
- 6 cups veg broth (I use 8 cups)
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 2 cups red potatoes, cubed
- 2 tablespoons Nutritional Yeast (I use 4 tablespoons)
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce (optional)
- ½ teaspoon marjoram
- ½ teaspoon sage
- ¼ teaspoon thyme
- Several twists of fresh ground pepper
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 cups cauliflower
Instructions
- 1Place the onion and ¼ cup of the broth in a large pot.
- 2Cook, stirring frequently, until the onion softens, about 2-3 minutes.
- 3Add remaining broth and the carrots and potatoes, nutritional yeast, soy sauce and seasonings.
- 4Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and cook for 20 minutes.
- 5Add broccoli and cauliflower and continue to cook another 20 minutes.
